Take The Summer Fitness Challenge

With sunny weather, the summer is a great time to become more active. There are plenty of fun activities you, your family, and friends can get involved with such as swimming at the pool, walking your dog, or even gardening.

To make things a little bit more fun, take the Summer Fitness Challenge by United We Serve: Let's Read. So, gather your friends and family and challenge yourselves. Over the next six weeks from July 28th - September 8th, track your activity along with other children and adults nationwide to achieve their own personal and group fitness goals. It's easy to keep track just visit PresidentsChallenge.org to start your activity log.

Another incentive is your hardwork can help you earn the Presidential Active Lifestyle Award (PALA), along with other awards, just by participating in physical activity exceeding your daily activity level at least 5 days a week. For adults, the daily activity level is 30 minutes a day and for youths under 18, the daily activity level is 60 minutes a day.
